President

Married to wife Rose and have three children, Graduated with Higher National Diploma from Bulawayo School of Hotel Management in 1996, Masters Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Zimbabwe in 2002. He is currently Head of Holiday Inn Division in Zimbabwe, a portfolio comprising the following; (Holiday Inn Harare (201 rooms), Holiday Inn Bulawayo (157 rooms) and Amber Hotel Mutare (soon to be rebranded to a Holiday Inn – 100 rooms).

Vice President Access Cluster

She holds an MSc in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Zimbabwe and currently studying towards a PhD in Tourism Management and the area of study is Tourism Development in southern Africa looking specifically at increasing tourist arrivals through increased airline access and infra regional connectivity. Muchanyuka’s aviation career spans over 26 years having started her career at Air Zimbabwe, then the group of Swissair, Austrian Airlines and Sabena and finally at South African Airways where she is the country manager since 2007.

Vice President Hospitality Cluster

25 years experience in the Hospitality Industry, Graduate of Hotel School in Bulawayo. Holder of a Masters in Business Administration and studying for a PhD in Business Administration. Currently he is the Deputy Director General Business Development ,Finance and Administration of Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Authority, President of Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe and Vice President of Zimbabwe Council for Tourism representing the Hospitality Sector.

Vice President Activities Cluster

He holds an HND Marketing Management– Zimbabwe Institute of Management Diploma Experience. He was the Marketing Manager of United Air Charters 1993/95, Group Marketing Manager Cresta Hospitality 1995/1997, Managing Director Fuldon Media 1997 - 2007. He is currently the chairman of Café Espresso Group.

Chief Executive Officer

Paul Nhamoinesu Matamisa is an hotelier, who was among the first lot of Black hoteliers who have been the forerunner of the indigenous operators in the country. As president of the HARAZ( Hotel and Restaurant Association of Zimbabwe), today rename Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe , Matamisa is happy to have championed the concept of the 1st degree programme for Tourism South of Sahara at the U.Z. Today almost all universities want Hospitality and Tourism programmes in Zimbabwe and the region.
